Do I need a visa for the Philippines in 2026?
It depends on your passport. Brazil and Israel passports can stay visa-free for 59 days; about 155 passports (including the USA, UK, UAE, Saudi Arabia, the EU and Japan) can stay visa-free for 30 days; China, India, Hong Kong, Macau and Taiwan passports get 14 days visa-free; Bangladesh, Nigeria and Timor-Leste passports can use the eVisa if they hold permanent residence in an eligible country; and around 33 passports, including Pakistan, Egypt, Jordan and Sri Lanka, need an embassy (sticker) visa.
Can Indian passport holders visit the Philippines without a visa?
Yes, for 14 days for tourism. Indians holding a valid US, Japan, Australia, Canada, Schengen, Singapore or UK visa or residence permit can stay visa-free for 30 days instead. That 30-day stay cannot be extended and is for tourism only.
Can UAE residents get a Philippines eVisa?
Bangladesh, Nigeria and Timor-Leste nationals who hold permanent residence in one of the listed countries, including the UAE, can apply for the Philippines eVisa. The fee depends on nationality. Other passports that need a visa apply through the embassy, and eVisas.io can prepare the documentation for UAE residents.
Which passports need an embassy visa for the Philippines?
Passports including Afghanistan, Pakistan, Egypt, Jordan, Sri Lanka, Syria, Iran, Iraq, Lebanon, Ukraine and others listed on this page must get an embassy / sticker visa before travel.
Can I extend my visa-free stay in the Philippines?
Many 30-day visa-free visitors can apply to the Bureau of Immigration for an extension before their stay ends. The 30-day stay for Indians using a US, Japan, Australia, Canada, Schengen, Singapore or UK visa or permit cannot be extended.
What do I need at Philippine immigration even if visa-free?
Usually a passport valid for at least 6 months beyond your stay, a return or onward ticket, and online eTravel registration completed within 72 hours before arrival. Officers can also ask for your hotel booking and proof of funds.
How long does a Philippines embassy visa take?
Timelines vary by embassy and season. Our visa options page shows the current processing time and the all-inclusive price for every Philippines visa we prepare.
Is the Philippines eVisa the same as eTravel?
No. eTravel is a free arrival registration every traveller completes. The eVisa is an actual visa and is only available to eligible nationalities and residents.

Pakistan and Egypt passports need an embassy visa. eVisas.io prepares the full document file for UAE residents; see the Philippines visa options page for the live price and requirements.
Which are the best places to visit in the Philippines?
Most first-time visitors combine Manila with island time in Palawan (El Nido, Coron), Boracay or Cebu and Bohol. Domestic flights connect them quickly.
