Do Saudi Iqama holders need a visa for Dubai?
Yes, in most cases. The UAE visa is issued against your passport nationality, not your Iqama. Only passports with a visa-free or visa-on-arrival entitlement can skip the pre-arranged visa.
Can I get a UAE visa on arrival with a Saudi Iqama?
A Saudi Iqama alone does not create a visa-on-arrival entitlement. Some professions and passports qualify for the separate GCC-resident route, but eligibility is decided by UAE immigration on the day.
How long does the UAE visa take for Saudi residents?
Standard processing is 3–5 working days once the passport, photo and Iqama copy are approved. Express handling can be 24–48 hours where available.
Does my profession on the Iqama matter?
It can. UAE immigration reviews certain profession categories more closely on the GCC-resident route. On the standard tourist route the profession is far less important.
Can I travel from Saudi Arabia to the UAE by road?
Yes, if you hold a valid UAE visa or a genuine visa-free entitlement. Road entry does not remove the visa requirement — arrange it before you drive.
How much is the Dubai visa for Saudi residents?
Prices depend on the visa length and your nationality. The live fee table on this page shows the current all-inclusive AED total; the checkout price is final and includes VAT.
What if my Iqama expires while I am in the UAE?
Your UAE visa remains valid on its own terms, but an expired Iqama can create problems re-entering Saudi Arabia. Check your Saudi re-entry position before you travel.
Can I extend a UAE tourist visa from Saudi Arabia?
Extensions are handled inside the UAE, not from Saudi Arabia, and are subject to the visa type. A multiple-entry visa is often the better choice for repeat trips.
Do children with Iqamas need their own visa?
Yes. Every traveller, including infants, needs an individual UAE visa and their own passport.
Is my visa valid for Abu Dhabi and Sharjah too?
Yes. A UAE tourist visa is valid across all seven emirates, subject to the dates printed on it.
What happens if my application is refused?
Government fees are non-refundable once submitted. We tell you the stated reason where UAE immigration provides one, and advise whether re-applying is realistic.
Do I need to send my original passport?
No. The UAE e-Visa is electronic. Only clear scans are required — your passport stays with you.
How much Iqama validity is required for the GCC-resident route?
GDRFA's GCC-resident service publishes a residence validity condition of no less than one year, and your passport should have at least six months remaining. Where your Iqama does not meet that condition, a standard tourist visa is normally the better route.
Can I apply for a UAE visa from Riyadh or Jeddah?
Yes. The application is entirely online, so residents of Riyadh, Jeddah, Dammam, Al Khobar, Makkah, Madinah and anywhere else in Saudi Arabia apply the same way. Your city does not change the entry rule — your passport nationality does.
How much is the UAE visa in SAR?
We charge in AED. The fee table on this page shows an indicative SAR equivalent so you can compare, but your bank or card provider applies its own conversion rate on the day.
Is approval guaranteed?
No agency can guarantee approval — the decision belongs to UAE immigration. We check every document before submission so avoidable refusals are caught early, and we tell you the stated reason when one is provided.
